Carlos Alcaraz Re-Wins Wimbledon Title
Alcaraz Defeats Djokavic Again
Spaniard Becomes Back-To-Back Champion in Straight Sets
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Novak Djokovic 6-2 6-2 7-6 in the Wimbledon final on Sunday, becoming the first Spaniard to win back-to-back Wimbledon titles since Rafael Nadal in 2008-2010.
Alcaraz, 19, has now won four Grand Slam titles, including last year's US Open and this year's Australian Open and French Open. He is the youngest man to win four Grand Slams since Nadal in 2005.
Djokovic, 36, was bidding for his 21st Grand Slam title, which would have tied him with Nadal for the most men's singles Grand Slam titles in history. However, Alcaraz proved too strong on the day, winning in straight sets in just over two hours and 30 minutes.
